The Golders Green Estate is a 1930s John Laing Estate built on the former Cricklewood Aerodrome. It consists of 1,000 semi-detached properties.

The late Mary Bennett, who moved here in the early days of our neighbourhood, used to say that every front garden had a tree, either a flower or a fruit tree. It must have been a magnificent sight!
